World Wrestling Entertainment Stadium Crowds

Image
Crowd in wrestling.. This is a WWF wrestling match. The stadium is set up just as it was in ancient greece during the olympics. This shows Barthes' idea of wrestling being a more dramatical experience rather than a sport. See how the crowd is has signs and is cheering? Wrestling is more for entertainment rather than sport.

Highland View 5: WWE vs. TNA

Image
Hello ladies and gentlemen I am Highlander G and before I start this article I have an announcement to make, this shall be my last article for a while! Yes, this is because I am going to be going on holiday very soon and can’t always guarantee internet access for writing articles. However do not despair I shall be back by the start of August. Now let’s get down to business.  Yes as you can see my final topic is the good old debate of whose better, WWE or TNA? Now I know many of you have different opinions but here is mine as to why WWE is the superior of the two main wrestling promotions in the USA. Reason 1- WWE is well known I can almost certainly say that if you walked down most streets in the western world and asked a person to name a wrestling company their answer would be WWE, or in some cases, WWF. That is why, for me WWE is the better company, more people know of it. If you search “ww” into Google the third suggestion is WWE. Now WWE is better known as it has the ability to a

The Top 10 Female Wrestlers

10. Lita Amy Christine Dumas (born April 14, 1975), known by her primary stage study Lita, is the lead singer for the band The Luchagors and retired professional wrestler and WWE Diva from 1999 to 2006.  After briefly working on the independent circuit and in Extreme Championship Wrestling, Dumas signed with World Wrestling Federation in 1999. Originally, she was paired with Essa Rios, but she reached her greatest near alongside Matt and Jeff Hardy as Team Xtreme. Throughout her career, she won the WWE Women’s Championship four times. During her tenure with the company she became arguably the most favourite Diva in the company’s history. Dumas had an off-screen relationship with Matt Hardy, which ended in 2005 after her affair with Adam “Edge” Copeland. WWE used the real-life drama between the trio as a storyline throughout 2005 and 2006, which led to Dumas being booed by the fans for the first time and her character becoming villainous on-screen. The relationship also led to the firi

WWE Money in the Bank: Why the PPV Can Either Be Outstanding or Disappointing

Image
In just about a week, the WWE holds its annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view. It could be the most hyped and exciting PPV since WrestleMania. The match card is absolutely tremendous. We have a world-title match between Christian and Randy Orton , two anticipated Money in the Bank Ladder Matches (which never disappoint), a WWE title match that's been drawing tons of mainstream attention, and a few more exciting draws. These matches are guaranteed to be at least good, but I'm getting nervous that the WWE will go with predictable outcomes. Let me start off with the Raw and Smackdown Money in the Bank matches. The favorites in both the matches are already pretty established, and their winning the matches would be an absolute waste. Alberto Del Rio, the favorite to win the Raw match, is already going be the top heel on Raw if/when CM Punk leaves the WWE, so Del Rio can obviously win it on his own. There are so many other stars in the match who could benefit from having it, l
